Lowrollers RTT April 2026

The pungent aroma of game-induced stress.

The anguished cry of 1’s being rolled. And then re-rolled.

Hawaiian shirts combined with Hawaiian pants, the colours of 1000 painted miniatures, and 50-odd people rolling dice and commanding their armies in the never-ending sprawl of search and destroy…

…It must be the Lowrollers Aprill RTT!

WHAT A DAY!!

With 44 players duelling it out for top spot (or – as we enjoy celebrating here at Lowrollers, the Top Bottom Spot) this was one of the best events that Lowrollers has had yet!

There were factions aplenty – including not just a Grey Knights boss, but also this mad lad and his Agents of the Imperium! I did comment that even Grey Knights or Imperial Agent players would feel like winners, and based on this bloke’s smile: he should have gone to Spec Savers. To be honest, I think the only person that had a bigger smile was the Ork player with his Stompa. I’m pretty sure I heard him saying, “stompy stompy stomp” mixed in with a “heheh smaash” each time it moved.

But enough of the blathering – lets get to the bit that matters!

THE LOWEST ROLLER

Taking out our prestigious Lowest Roller Award was Neill S. with his Astra Militarum force. In an army that can give out orders to improve almost everything, re-roll ones, and just about out OC most things, it takes a special dedication to earn this award. But when your list contains the old metal Vostroyans, this award becomes less about being the Lowest Roller and more about just being awesome for enjoying this awesome game.

BEST PAINTED

With some amazingly detailed and dotted Tyranids, Best Painted deservedly goes to Steve D!

UNDEFEATED

When there are so many attending, it is inevitable that more than one player goes undefeated. Today, there were 5 that managed to achieve exactly this:

  • Zach DG (Adepta Sororitas) with 89/99/87
  • Jamie W (Chaos Space Marines) scoring 81/94/98
  • Adam S (Thousand Sons) getting 75/91/88, and
  • Ivan B (Custodes) with 72/78/97

Great work going undefeated!

But you didn’t quite reach the heights of the player that took out top spot…

BEST GENERAL

In first place, commanding the shortest average miniature army in the form of Leagues of Votann, is the gravitationally unchallenged Captain of Irony (because, you know, he’s just too damn tall to be playing the shortest army):

Rory W!

Even without the table height boosters, Rory was able to top the day with an incredibly impressive 95/100/95!

On behalf of the Lowrollers Brisbane Committee for Awesome Tabletop Adventures, we thank you all for attending our April RTT and look forward to seeing you at the next one!

And as always – aim low, roll lower.
